Edition label notes

Edition labels on Marvel NFT comics often collapse several facts into a single badge. A first-window issue, a later reprint with the same cover art, a foil variant, and a bundle exclusive can sit next to each other in a collector’s tray and look almost identical at thumbnail size.

An edition label note from System Trail Core records the public name of the drop, the cover description as collectors actually use it, and whether the listing language points to an original mint or a later wave. We write the difference between a numbered copy from the first hour and a copy that arrived after a restock, even when both share the same title treatment.

The note also flags shared-cover traps. Some Marvel digital comics reuse a splash or trade-dress across multiple editions. We mark that reuse so a rarity conversation stays attached to the edition, not only to the character on the cover.
